WDL has an immediate opening for a Territory Manager. A successful Territory Manager will drive business by providing sales and product support to our distributors. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right person. Potential candidate must be a result driven self-starter with an exceptional ability to create and maintain relationships with the sales staff found within our distribution partners.
Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly store visits to distributors within a geographic territory.

Respond quickly to distributor request for pricing, product information, stock levels, customer questions, etc.

Drive sales by educating sales staff and performing in-store product demos.

Call on and educate new distributors within the assigned territory.

Execute strategic selling events (Lunch and Learn, Customer Appreciation Days, In-Store Display Set Up, Counter Days, Customer Site Visits etc.)

Previous Sales Experience a Plus

Excellent communication and presentation skills required

Quote products and respond to customer questions quickly

Be proactive and a self-starter

Ability to work alone

Computer skills required and preferred (i.e. MS Office required, ZOHO CRM)

This position will cover an assigned geographic territory and potentially other markets within the Midwest. Willingness to travel 70% of the time with overnight stays

Be able to use tools in the electrical trade to set up in store displays and wire products for demonstration. (Training Provided)

Duties and Responsibilities

Use phone calls and emails to generate interest, present new products and identify new store locations.

Send direct emails to customer base to update customers on new products, promotions, and special purchases.

Track and identify market competition pricing.

Work with field sales team to schedule lunch & learns and customer visits.

Review and process customer PO’s. Identify order discrepancies and notify sales team to potential problems.

Communicate accurate information to customers concerning order status, order changes, shipping information, product availability and pricing.

Answer phone calls and emails regarding product stock status, pricing and shipping status.

Work with logistic vendor to ensure accurate and on-time shipments.

Proactively review backlog to identify past due orders and communicate status with customer.

Work with purchasing to expedite purchases to meet customer back orders.

Resolve customer discrepancies regarding shipping errors.
